Ekorrbo lies 5 km from Ånäset, in the little village of Estersmark. It is here that Ulla Holmström and her family run their craft business using textiles and wood.

There is lots for all ages to see at Ekorrbo. A play area for small children, a discovery trail and adventure course for those who are a little older. The shop is filled with high quality crafts. During the summer months there are garden ornaments, beautifully carved bowls, Swedish shrink boxes, fabrics in cotton, linen or wool and souvenirs. The family love to meet their customers personally and hold several courses in craftwork where they readily share their passion and skills. Walk around the place, sit down and relax with a cup of coffee while the children play and enjoy the view of over the natural surroundings.

In the run up to Christmas Ekorrbo is open on Thursdays 4-8pm or at other times on request.
Coach and bus groups welcome throughout the year upon on request.

Directions

Take one of the buses that travels along the E4. Disembark at the Ånäset bus station. Ring and we can arrange transport for the last 5km. By car, take the road joining Burträsk and Ånäset. In the village of Estersmarks, 31 km from Burträsk and 5km from Ånäset, follow the signs for Östra Estersmark and Ekorrbo Hantverk.
