Bjuröklubb is one of Sweden's more accessible lighthouses, still in use and in its original condition. It has an impressive history and is set in an incredibly beautiful landscape. Visitors can find out all about its interesting cultural heritage and the surrounding landscape, either on their own in the company of a guide.
In the old master’s house, the local support group Arena Bjuröklubb runs Café Fyren, a summer restaurant serving hot and cold meals, sandwiches, ice-cream and home-made cakes. Special menus can be created for celebrations and a picnic basket can be ordered if you want to eat outdoors while exploring the unique landscape. Accommodation for up to eight people is available in the lighthouse and pilot station and there are also facilities for conferences and group events. Visit Bjuröklubb, and enjoy the restored premises, the excellent food and an amazing view which will take your breath away.
Are you on the hunt for an activity that is exciting, interesting or even unusual? Then look out for the brown and white signposts beside the road indicating places of interest, special landmarks and areas that have been designated as tourist attractions. Bjuröklubb is designated as such an area.
